i'm stupid and (unrelated) can't sing

Here's a newer incarnation of the mp3 linked to below, with me singing on it.
I really need to get voice lessons or something. If only I could make the sound
I imagine in my head.

But what I really hate is people who say shit like "you shouldn't sing" when I
make crap like this. Because if you don't try, how can you ever expect to 
improve? Anybody who has ever gotten good at something that once they were not
should know that.

(it's not like I recorded that and was like "MAN I RULE I NEED TO GO ON 
AMERICAN IDOL! YEAHZ!!!")

it is expected to say something good; so i am not going to say anything.
hmm, i changed my mind -- here's a tip:

people believe that you are a programmer. Programmers in general do not have a good reputation on being great singers.

programmers = !fun + !trendy + !fancy + !the_crap_that_most_people_want

(on the other hand they say that there is some kind of relation between music and coding. The way I consider that is `taste` and `inspiration`). I almost forgot that there are people (see PhD etc) that believe that a person can have only one role, one attitude like they do(if you are a programmer then you cannot be a singer). The hard part is here: you have to make people to believe that you are not a programmer but great a singer! After that you can become a programmer again (this is the trick man). as i said above -..relation between `music and coding` NOT the other way around ;). and you are done -- you will not need the voice lessons! :D

Hell yeah Justin. I'm positive your attitude plays a not insignificant part in why you're successful. You're willing to try and fail (but keep improving), where others are too afraid of feeling stupid.

You know it's not really that bad, and it's not like it like it's your voice that's bad, it seems like it's more of a tempo problem, in which case practice would improve it

The mixer gain for the vocals track needs to be turned up. It didn't sound bad for being in a draft stage (and I agree ref how will you get better if you don't try), but turn up the volume for the vocals! :-)

Besides, if you can make a track loud enough but with you talking low, then you could yourself Justinvana ("Penny Royal Tea" comes to mind). :-)
